Her creations move fluidly between body, stage, wall, and environment, often combining painted and dyed fabrics with digital media and sculptural forms.
Candy has created costumes and projection illustrations for acclaimed performance companies including Zorongo Flamenco and Ballet of the Dolls, as well as for several productions by Craig Harris.

For Art-A-Whirl 2026, Candy will present a new series of digital illustrations created for Craig Harris’s story Breathing Under Water, commissioned by Art to Change the World for the anthology Aging as an Art Form: Notes from the Far Side of Youth. In addition, visitors will experience her vibrant painted and dyed fabric works throughout the installation.

Craig Harris

At Art-A-Whirl 2026, Craig will present Legacy Dream Space, an evolving multidimensional story environment exploring themes of loss, hope, memory, and legacy. The installation includes interactive multimedia experiences, digital illustration prints, suspended painted fabrics, music, soundscapes, and spontaneous performances. Expanded and reimagined since last year’s presentation, this year’s installation continues the unfolding evolution of the Legacy Dream Space.

Jolanta Young
Jolanta Young is a St. Paul–based media artist and filmmaker with nearly two decades of experience rooted in storytelling, artistry, and genuine human connection. As a passionate artist-advocate and co-founder of Mumandmeproduction, she bridges the vibrant visual language of Trinidad & Tobago carnival culture with the sophistication of New York Fashion Week runways — weaving together heritage, movement, fashion, and community through her lens.
Whether documenting cultural traditions or directing a professional studio shoot, Jolanta’s work is grounded in helping people feel truly seen. With a warm and intuitive approach behind the camera, she creates an environment where clients feel comfortable, confident, and fully themselves — resulting in polished, timeless portraits that feel both authentic and elevated.
During Art-A-Whirl 2026, Jolanta will be offering artist headshot sessions in Studio 212 on Saturday, May 16 from 2–5 PM. Designed especially for artists, makers, and creatives, these portrait sessions aim to capture each individual in a natural, expressive, and professional way — creating images that reflect both artistic identity and personality.
Visitors are invited to explore Studio 212 throughout the weekend, meet the artists, experience immersive creative environments, and participate in the ongoing evolution of the Legacy Dream Space community.
