Join Ruben for a special presentation at Unity Church-Unitarian where we will examine the history and nature of conversations about Israel and Palestine. Together, we’ll explore practices for engaging in these conversations, and for turning our values and aspirations into positive actions. The event will include dinner served by the Food Ministry Teams followed by the presentation.

Ruben Slomianski Bio
Ruben is a Jewish American raised in a Conservative Jewish household in the 1950s, whose family members include people who were displaced or lost their lives as a result of the pogroms of the early 20th Century and the Holocaust, and also now includes family members who suffer under occupation in the West Bank. He is an artist and advocate for human rights and justice for Palestinians, and he has been active with Jewish Voice for Peace Twin Cities Chapter and MN-BDS Community for several years.
